The Givel Foundation was created in March 2023 by Anne-Claire Givel Fuchs and Jean-Christophe de Vries, its co-founders. The Foundation began its philanthropic activity in April 2024. It is recognized as being of pure public utility due to its goals and the members of its Council carry out voluntary activity. It is active in the Canton of Vaud in the fields of arts and health. It only supports individuals through incentive grants which must enable personal development or the realization of a unique project, for the direct or indirect benefit of the community.

The Foundation is the fruit of the heritage of the Givel family as well as contributors who recognize themselves in this audacious and philanthropic spirit, particularly well embodied by the members of the last generation: Jean-Claude Givel and Anne-Claire Givel Fuchs.
